Geoffrey Lawrence is Emeritus Professor of Sociology and Chair of the College of Experts at the Global Change Institute, The University of Queensland.
He is considered to be one of the world leaders in social science-based agri-food research. Geoffrey has been a government appointee on the Lake Eyre Basin Scientific Advisory Panel and is currently President of the International Rural Sociology Association.
